WASHINGTON (Jan. 15, 2020) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) today voted for a House resolution sending the Senate two approved articles of impeachment against President Trump and naming the House “managers” who will act as prosecutors in the Senate trial.
WASHINGTON (Jan. 9, 2020) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) today voted for legislation that would sharply limit President Trump’s ability to use military force against Iran without first securing congressional approval.
Congressman Evans issued the following statement:
"President Trump’s erratic approach to war and peace has not worked with North Korea, and the American people will not be well-served by cowboy behavior in the Middle East either. President Trump failed to consult with Congress.
"Diplomacy cannot be conducted by tweet, and war certainly cannot be conducted by tweet.
