The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee will collect highway and transit Member Designated Projects (MDPs) as part of this year's reauthorization legislation. My office will accept requests through this form – our deadline is Wednesday, April 7. My office's resource guide for these requests is available here.

I also want to remind Philadelphia nonprofits that this Monday, April 5 is my office's deadline for Community Project Funding requests. Monday is also our deadline for regular appropriations requests. You can find those application forms and more information on my website.

Evans Announces $63Billion Housing Is Essential Plan

This week, I announced my Housing Is Essential Plan, which would provide more than $63 billion in new federal funding for accessible and affordable housing. You can read more about the plan here.

This is a need that existed in Philadelphia and across the country even before any of us heard of Covid-19, but now we have a new partner in the White House who is willing to invest in housing and other infrastructure. I believe there's much in common between my plan and the American Jobs Plan that President Biden announced today, and I look forward to working together to make significant progress!
