PHILADELPHIA (Feb. 12, 2026) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3) today announced he secured $7.4 million for eight community projects in the 3rd Congressional District in a recently passed federal funding package.

“Bringing federal funding home for Philadelphians has always been one of my priorities in Congress, and I’ll keep pursuing more funding for our communities,” Evans said.

Boyle (PA-02), and Mary Gay Scanlon (PA-05) sent a letter to Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and National Park Service Acting Director Jessica Bowron opposing the removal of slavery-related exhibits at Independence National Historical Park.

“What the Trump-Vance administration has done to the President’s House exhibit in Philadelphia is an outrage! Their shameful desecration of this exhibit raises broader, disturbing questions about this administration’s continued abuse of power and commitment to whitewashing history. 

WASHINGTON (Jan. 8, 2026) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3) celebrated the House of Representatives’ vote to restore health-care tax credits and reverse a Jan. 1 cost spike for 22 million Americans’ health insurance.

“I’m proud that House Democrats forced this vote to undo a cost increase of hundreds or thousands of dollars per month in people’s health-insurance premiums. This affects about 500,000 Pennsylvanians. Now we need the Senate and President Trump to have a sense of urgency about it!” Evans said.
