-1/30/2017- Cosponsored legislation, the ‘Build Bridges Not Walls Act" which would prohibit the implementation of Presidents Trump's Executive Order to build a wall on our U.S.-Mexico border

-1/31/2017- Signed onto a letter set forth by Rep. Zoe Lofgren, Rep. John Conyers, Jr. and Rep. Pramila Jayapal to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kelly demanding answers to implementation of the Muslim Ban Executive order
