Evans to Host 3rd Annual National Service Opportunity Fair on Saturday, Oct. 26

PHILADELPHIA (Oct. 23, 2019) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd), will host his third annual National Service Opportunity Fair on Saturday. The unique event is intended to introduce middle and high school students and college freshmen to rewarding careers in American service.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at Temple University - Liacouras Hall, 1776 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, 19121. Students will be able to meet representatives from:

• the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy; U.S. Air Force Academy; and U.S. Coast Guard Academy;
• the Army, Navy, & Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC);
• Federal Emergency Management Agency; Environmental Protection Agency, Transportation Security Administration and U.S. Customs and Border Protection;
• Federal Bureau of Investigation; Central Intelligence Agency; U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration; Corporation for National and Community Service.
