What to Expect When You Vote
Free, fair, and secure elections are the foundation of American democracy. Every eligible voter deserves the chance to have their voice heard, free from intimidation, and have confidence our election systems will remain protected from interference. As your representative in Congress, I am committed to protecting your vote, safeguarding our elections, and defending American voting rights.

Voting is the best way to have your opinions expressed in government. So don’t leave your power on the table this Election Day!
Election day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026 — but you can vote NOW in Philadelphia!
You can request, complete, and return a ballot all in one stop at one of the Philadelphia City Commissioners’ Satellite Election Offices. Find a full list of these offices by clicking here.
If you need to register to vote or to change your registration (for example, updating your name or address), Pennsylvania’s deadline is October 19, 2026. You can click here to check your voter registration status.
Pennsylvania’s deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot this election is 5 p.m. October 27, 2026. Click here for more information on how to apply and here to check the status of your mail ballot.
For Election Day voting:
- Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
- To find your nearest polling place, click here.
- If you are voting by mail your ballot must be received by the County Board of Election by 8 p.m. on Election Day. So, make sure you leave plenty of time to send or drop off your ballot.
- Please note: your ballot CANNOT be returned to your local polling place on election day.
- You can submit your ballot in the mail, in person at one of Philadelphia City Commissioner’s Satellite Election Offices, or using an official drop box. Enter your address in the drop box locator app to find the one closest to you!
- Voters can call the election hotline at (215) 686-1590 or the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office at (215) 686–9641 for assistance on election day. Nobody is allowed to influence or intimidate you inside the polling place. Any voter whose name is not in the pollbook is entitled to receive a provisional ballot. Electioneering is not allowed inside the polling place, or within 10 feet of the entrance to the room where voting is occurring.
