Evans, Nadler, Shapiro and Krasner Join Together to Host Criminal Justice Reform Roundtable in Philadelphia
Congressman Dwight Evans (PA-02); Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, Jerrold Nadler (NY-10); Pennsylvania Attorney General, Josh Shapiro; Philadelphia District Attorney, Larry Krasner; Chief Defender of the Defender Association of Philadelphia, Keir Grey; Chairman of the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus, Rep. Jordan Harris; Deputy Director of the ACLU's Campaign for Smart Justice, William Cobb; Director of Philadelphia's FIGHT Institute for Community Justice, Assata M. Thomas; and Criminal Defense Attorney and Community Activist, Michael Coard will join together for an important roundtable on Criminal Justice Reform.
The Criminal Justice Reform Roundtable will be this Friday, February 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the University of Pennsylvania. The roundtable will take place in The Arch (room 108) located at 3601 Locust Walk, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
Congressman Evans is proud to bring together an influential and dynamic group to highlight the problems facing the criminal justice system within the City of Philadelphia and how these challenges are similar to those facing our neighborhoods nationwide.
