Rep. Dwight Evans join House Leadership for Small Business Committee Democrats' Roundtable

Washington, D.C.-- Today, Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-02) joined House Small Business Committee Ranking Member Nydia Velazquez, House Leader Nancy Pelosi and members of the Small Business Committee to speak with leaders from the small business industry during a roundtable discussion.  During the discussion, the small business community leaders discussed their concerns and spoke with Members on behalf of their entities. 

“I enjoyed hearing from the small business community leaders today,” said Representative Evans.  “Small businesses create jobs and opportunities, spur innovation and are a fundamental component in the fabric of our nation.  They contribute to the overall health of our communities and I vow to do all I can, along with my colleagues, to support our nation’s small businesses.  We particularly must ensure that women, minorities and veterans continue to receive access to capital that will enable them the opportunity to build vibrant small businesses and develop the long-term growth that can be obtained through targeted development and continued dialogue.”
