Disaster Aid for Philly; Monday: South Philly ‘Congress Comes to You
Disaster aid available for Philly homes, businesses, nonprofits affected by July 11 storms
Federally funded disaster aid is available for Philadelphia residents, small businesses and private nonprofits affected by July 11’s severe storms. While you don’t need to visit a recovery center to apply, a center is open for in-person visits at the Dixon House, 1920 S. 20th St., Philadelphia, PA 19145; open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays; last day that center will be open is Wednesday, Aug. 19.

Monday in South Philly: ‘Congress Comes to You’
My office’s “Congress Comes to You” mobile office hours are continuing next week, and I plan to be there, schedule permitting (the event is from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.):
- Monday, Aug. 10, South Philadelphia Library, 1700 S. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19145.
And this Wednesday, Aug. 12, members of my staff will be at the next Mt. Airy Supper Session from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (rain date is Wednesday, Aug. 19), in the 7100 and 7200 blocks of Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19119.
Whether you visit us at a mobile office site or either of my two district offices, we can help with federal issues such as passports, immigration, the Postal Service, IRS, Medicare, Social Security or the Department of Veterans Affairs.
