Two tax-credit scams to avoid
The IRS recently issued warnings about two tax-credit scams that have been reported to my office. Don’t risk an IRS audit and a $5,000 fine – learn more about these two scams at these links:
● A “Self Employment Tax Credit” scam
● A new emerging scam involving buying clean energy tax credits

New website calculates how federal initiatives can save you money
The new federal “Savings Explorer” website lets you see how Biden-Harris administration initiatives can save you money (including things like the $35 monthly cost cap on insulin for Medicare beneficiaries, which I voted for). Some of the savings may surprise you, like savings on energy bills, inhalers, and hearing aids. Click here to check it out.
My office can help with federal issues. During my first seven years in Congress, my office has helped to return to or save more than $41 million for Philadelphians from federal agencies such as the IRS, Social Security Administration and Department of Veterans Affairs. We also help constituents with other federal concerns such as U.S. Postal Service issues and immigration or passport issues.
If you’re seeking help with a federal agency or a federal concern, you can contact my offices at 215-276-0340 (Northwest Philadelphia) or 215-254-3400 (Point Breeze) or fill out this form that legally authorizes us to look into your case.
