Evans Hosting Telephone Town Hall on March 8; Delaware Attorney General, ACLU Rep among Guest Speakers

PHILADELPHIA (Feb. 27, 2025) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) will host a telephone town hall on Saturday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. He’ll be joined by guest speakers to help update Philadelphians on what’s happening with efforts to fight Trump administration actions, including some successes in the courts.
Residents of the 3rd Congressional District can sign up to be called by visiting evans.house.gov/live. They can also join the call when it takes place by calling 888-480-3686.
Evans said Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings and a representative from the ACLU will be among the guest speakers, providing updates on lawsuits that their organizations are involved with.

Evans represents the 3rd Congressional District, which includes Northwest and West Philadelphia and parts of North, South, Southwest and Center City Philadelphia. He serves on the influential House Ways and Means Committee, including its Subcommittee on Health. In addition to taxes, the committee also oversees trade, Social Security and Medicare.
