Resources for Philadelphians affected by Troubling New Trump Administration Policies
As your member of Congress, my job is not only to be a voice for Philadelphians in the legislative process, but also to be a resource to you. During this time of uncertainty caused by the recent actions of the Trump-Vance Administration, I wanted to share a guide of useful resources for families in need of assistance with their federal employment, immigration status, veterans care, or other federal matters.
Please Note: Under House Ethics Guidelines, I am generally only permitted to share information from government resources- not private sector or nonprofit resources. As you navigate this challenging time in federal employment, you may wish to contact your union or HR representatives for more information.
My team and I will continue to update this guide as we learn more information.
- Resources for Federal Workers
- Federal Employee Rights & Appeals
- Right to reasonable accommodations for qualified employees with disabilities
- Statutory whistleblower protections and accompanying resources
- If you have information (particularly if you are a government employee or contractor) related to the politicization of the federal workforce, the firing of civil servants, and/or waste, fraud, or abuse of taxpayer dollars, you may reach out anonymously to the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.
- Prohibited personnel practices
- Civil service law primer
- Resources for Immigrant Families
- Resources for Veterans and Service Member Families
- Resources for the LGBTQ+ Community
