● The Infrastructure and Jobs Act I voted for is delivering $462 million in federal funding for a new Amtrak maintenance facility in West Philadelphia! The project is expected to create about 250 jobs during construction and about 50 permanent jobs once it’s finished.  

Is Your Ballot One of2,900 in Philly with an Error? 

The Philadelphia City Commissioners, who oversee elections in the city, have identified more than 2,900 mail-in and absentee ballots with various issues that may prevent them from being counted in the upcoming November 5, 2024 general election. You can click here to see the list – the same page also explains how to solve issues with a ballot or get a replacement ballot. The list is updated regularly, so you may want to bookmark the page! 

Upcoming Event and Deadlines

Oct. 24 at 12 p.m.: Deadline to enter the Congressional App Challenge for 5th- to 12th-grade students.

Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: My office will host a Service Academy Day for students interested in learning more about our nation’s service academies and my office’s nomination process.
