North Light Food Pantry serves over 1,000 Philadelphians annually, as they provide food to our working families in Pennsylvania's Second Congressional District. As you know, President Trump's appalling budget hurts Philadelphians trying to get ahead. Our veterans, senior citizens, children and families depend on SNAP to put food on the table week after week.

President Trump just announced his decision to pull the US out of the Paris Climate Agreement. I do not support the President's decision. I will continue to act on climate because our future generations depend on it and we have a lot to lose if not. In fact, 59% of Americans believe in climate change and know protecting our earth is crucial.

This bill would expand the number of provoking factors for implementing the death penalty in three key ways: 1) it is duplicative, 2) it runs counter to reconciliation efforts between law enforcement and our communities, and 3) it will not deter the behavior it attempts to confront.
