Education
Having started my career as an educator, I wholeheartedly understand the importance of access to high-quality education for all- from childhood to adulthood. I believe that when we invest in the education of our students, we invest in the future of our workforce and our communities.
We have an obligation to ensure every one of our students has the tools and resources they need to be successful both inside and outside of the classroom. This includes means ensuring that our school buildings are modernized and keep pace with the changing times. Last Congress, I was proud to introduce legislation that would allow Philly’s historic schools to receive tax credits to upgrade their facilities and remove dangerous mold and asbestos.
