PHILADELPHIA (April 29, 2020) – Congressman Dwight Evans (PA-03) is urging Gov. Tom Wolf and Mayor Jim Kenney to include the Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium as part of a coordinated city and state strategy to reach the highly vulnerable African American community.
Evans sent a letter to Wolf and Kenney urging the consortium be included and outlining his concerns.

WASHINGTON (April 23, 2020) – Congressman Dwight Evans (PA-03), vice chair of the House Small Business Committee, testified today in the committee's hearing on priorities for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) created last month under the CARES Act.
HOWARD, PA — Today, Representatives Glenn ‘GT' Thompson (PA-15) and Rep. Dwight Evans (PA-03) introduced the Giving Retailers and Our Convenience Employees Relief, or GROCER Act. The bill would establish a federal tax holiday for grocery and convenience store employees from February 15 through June 15 for individuals making less than $75,000 annually. The bill would also provide discretion to the Treasury to extend this benefit for an additional three months.
