Parker secured $158,911,664 in federal funding to reconnect Philadelphia’s Chinatown neighborhood across the Vine Street Expressway (I-676), which split the historic neighborhood apart when it was constructed.
WASHINGTON (March 8, 2024) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) announced he has secured more than $13.3 million in federal funding for 15 Philadelphia community projects. The funding is provided in an appropriations bill that has passed the House of Representatives and is expected to pass the Senate and be signed into law by President Biden.
