PHILADELPHIA (March 11, 2020) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) has postponed the information session about the U.S. service academies he had planned to hold on March 21 for students and their parents or guardians.
The event was scheduled to be held at the Community College of Philadelphia, which has canceled or postponed events on the campus for the rest of March due to coronavirus-related public safety concerns.

The proposed merger would provide enhanced stability and access to high-quality care for the residents of North Philadelphia for the foreseeable future. I urge these agencies to drop this ill-considered action at once!" Evans said.

This effort has taken on added urgency with the news of changes coming to Mercy Hospital in West Philadelphia.
