Congressman Dwight Evans (PA-02) released the following statement after the Republican "skinny repeal" bill failed in the Senate early this morning.
"What happened on the Senate Floor is not a victory but a much needed opportunity for President Trump and Republicans in both the House and Senate to focus on the needs of the American people," Congressman Evans said. Talking to people is the only way to learn about their needs and figure out solutions.

Congressmen Dwight Evans (D-PA) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) released a joint statement following Wednesday's shooting encouraging members to come together:
Today, I voted NO on H.R. 10, the Choice Act, legislation that would dramatically weaken and even repeal many key provisions of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. I want to share with you why after careful consideration I came to this decision.
