WASHINGTON (March 8, 2022) – A bipartisan group of four members of Congress, led by Rep. Dwight Evans (D-PA), is introducing a bill that would continue the Delaware River Basin Restoration Program, which benefits four states – Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and New York.
The program was created in 2016 and is set to expire next year – the reauthorization would extend it to 2030.
Dear Governor Wolf and Legislative Leaders:
We are writing to urge the Commonwealth to drive the bulk of its billions of remaining American Rescue Plan dollars out to struggling Pennsylvania families and small businesses as soon as possible. We voted for this federal funding because of the urgent needs stemming from the Covid-19 pandemic. We never intended these billions of federal pandemic relief dollars to be locked away in a state government vault. Pennsylvanians have already paid these federal taxes and they deserve to have them put to use quickly.

Payments are currently set to resume on Feb.

WASHINGTON (Nov. 6, 2021) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) voted Friday evening for a landmark infrastructure bill to create millions of jobs and make long-overdue repairs to the nation's roads, bridges, transit, water and sewer systems. PITTSBURGH (Sept. 17, 2021) – Congressmen Mike Doyle (PA-18) and Dwight Evans (PA-3) joined with housing advocates today to outline major gains for affordable housing in the "Build Back Better" reconciliation bill that's pending in the House of Representatives, and called on the Senate to match that funding.
WASHINGTON (Sept. 7, 2021) – In advance of a House Ways and Means Committee markup on the budget reconciliation package, U.S. Representatives Dwight Evans (PA-3) and Nikema Williams (GA-5) are introducing a $1 billion tax credit bill that would advance environmental justice using tax credits for research and other academic programs.

PHILADELPHIA (Aug. 3, 2021) – The office of U.S. Rep. Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) will hold monthly mobile service hours at the North Philadelphia office of state Sen. Sharif Street (D-3rd).
The monthly mobile service hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month at Street's office at 1621 W. Jefferson St., Philadelphia, 19121, on the following dates: Aug. 4, Sept. 1, Oct. 6 and Nov. 3.
