PHILADELPHIA (July 29, 2020) – Congressman Dwight Evans (PA-03) will host an online town hall on housing rights and relief programs from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 30 with representatives of four agencies and organizations.
"This is an opportunity for Philadelphia renters and homeowners to learn more about your rights as well as programs that can help you avoid eviction or foreclosure," Evans said.

PHILADELPHIA (July 16, 2020) – Congressman Dwight Evans (PA-03), vice chair of the House Small Business Committee, is calling on the U.S. Small Business Administration to explain why as many as 20 Philadelphia small businesses have been denied advance financing of up to $10,000 each while they waited months for a decision on a loan application.
Philadelphia, Pa. – U.S. Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) and U.S. Congressman Dwight Evans (D-Pa. 3rd) are launching a bicameral, bipartisan effort to help small businesses that were damaged or destroyed during recent nationwide incidents of civil unrest related to the death of George Floyd.
WASHINGTON (July 2, 2020) – Congressman Dwight Evans (PA-03) announced the House has passed his school-repair plan as well as a complementary school-repair plan he has advocated. The legislation passed Wednesday as part of a sweeping infrastructure package, the Moving Forward Act (H.R. 2).
The Espaillat, Evans No Funding for Confederate Symbols Act legislation not only would require the renaming of any military installations named after Confederate generals, but would prohibit Federal funds from being used to create, maintain, or display any Confederate symbol on Federal public land – including highways, parks, Federal buildings, streets, or any other Federal property.
