WASHINGTON (May 31, 2023) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) announced he will vote yes on a bipartisan budget agreement to prevent a U.S. default and an economic crash that would have resulted from default.
“Ultimately my vote is for preventing a 2008-like economic crash and recession – and protecting the vast majority of the progress we made in the first two years of the Biden-Harris administration,” Evans said.

PHILADELPHIA (May 12, 2023) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) has introduced his innovative school-repair bill, which would make it easier for school districts to use the current federal historic rehabilitation tax credit to upgrade historic school buildings that will continue to operate as schools after renovation.

PHILADELPHIA (April 19, 2023) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) has requested a total of more than $23.7 million in federal Community Project Funding for 15 Philadelphia projects. The biggest category is housing, with $9,400,149 of Evans' requests designated for seven housing initiatives in the city.
PHILADELPHIA (April 12, 2023) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) hosted a news conference Tuesday with state and city officials about millions of dollars in grants being used to renovate a long-closed Germantown store into a new, full-service location of Weavers Way Co-op. About 250 people attended an open house that followed at the site, 328 W. Chelten Ave.
