PHILADELPHIA (March 18, 2021) – Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) announced the U.S. House of Representatives will accept limited member requests for Community Project Funding in appropriations bills for the upcoming fiscal year.

I have set a deadline of April 5 for applications for CPF projects for the 3rd Congressional District.
I'm very pleased to report that President Biden has signed the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan into law today. I was proud to vote for it yesterday in the House because I believe it will deliver much-needed help to end the pandemic and pull many Philadelphians out of the economic hole caused by the Covid recession. This includes a new round of $1,400 stimulus payments to finish the job of delivering $2,000 in stimulus checks. I believe this new law will also be a huge down payment on a promise President Biden and I made to "build back better."

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) and U.S. Representative Dwight Evans (D-PA-03) are introducing the Resources for Victims of Gun Violence Act. This legislation would establish an interagency Advisory Council to gather and disseminate information about the resources, programs and benefits that can help victims of gun violence—including survivors and the families, classmates, coworkers and other associates of individuals affected by gun violence. More than 100 Americans die from gun violence each day and over 230 more are wounded.
